Here is one thread where I found a little info. quote:
I would just like to say that I have successfully got UD to work on my Mandrake Linux 8.1 machine. I simply set up codeweavers version of wine and copied over the UD folder from windows and deleted the file cs.ud (which then forces a new download of the vital files). I then did what it asked (it prompts you for new account / existing account details). Then I just clicked on the UD.exe file and everything works. It does however appear not to be working sometimes, when in fact it is, so stick with it.
